11 March 2019
We will be joining the nation for Red Nose Day on Friday 15th March to raise money for Comic Relief. We are asking for a small donation for pupils to take part and we are grateful for any amount you can give.
The children can wear their own bought red noses if they wish, however we are aware that comic relief state that from the cost of “£1.25 at least 65p” goes to the charity. With this in mind we will be providing red nose face painting on the day to ensure all the money raised goes straight to comic relief.
This idea contributes to the school council’s aims of making us a waste-less school, this is also in line with various campaigns that raise awareness of the environmental impact of plastic pollution on our planet. If your child has any allergies and you do not wish them to take part in the face painting please inform their class teacher.
We will also have a drop off recycling box in the school office for those who wish to recycle their red noses after the day, these will also be collected by classes and returned to Sainsbury’s recycling point.

We look forward to having a fun day and thank you for supporting this great cause!
