Our school council meet regularly to discuss ideas for how to make our school even better.
The council is made up of children from each class in KS2, with each class having at least one responsible representative. This ensures all the pupils of Newlands have a voice and can raise issues that are important to them.
The school council are often involved in greeting parents and representing Newlands at various events, they are always polite and helpful and act as role models for the rest of the school community.
The school council organise letters, competitions and questionnaires depending on the area of our school they are focusing on and are proud to uphold our school values everyday.
